They've definitely changed it.
Anyone give a tip for making the picture link back to the flickr page?
Anyone give a tip for making the picture link back to the flickr page?
Yes. Go to the previous page and read what Drac has posted.

Has that worked?
Edit: It seems so!
[img] http://www.flickr.com/photos/34577062@N04/4090003992/sizes/l/ [/img]I've avoided doing this as it never seems to work.... so here goes
oh ffs

grrr
Shizzletrack - you need to use square brackets, not angle brackets
Since we're using this as a testing thread and I have been failing recently, here goes...
This is when I am not logged into my flickr account, having selected all sizes and then clicking on the medium option, right click, copy image URL

[/img]
(edit: And it worked... Going to try again when I am logged into my Flickr account)
This is not loged in, having not clicked on 'all sizes'.

Okay, I have done exactly what I have been doing recently and failing apart from the fact that I was viewing my own album on Flickr without being logged in this time? Relevant, maybe?
Yey! Labmonkey!! Welcome to my world!
Okay, if you're logged in to Flickr but do not go to the 'all sizes' section, you don't get the 'farm3.static.flickr.com' address, just the user/photo ID path with no .jpg image defined and that doesn't work.
Sorted. 🙂
(I am sure someone else already deduced and said this very thing but I had to get my head around it so maybe my version will be helpful to someone else?)
Labmonkey, your photos are private - is that relevant?
TN - no idea?! I will have a look now... This has always foxed me, and I have never asked for fear of looking dumb... it seems that this latter statement may be correct! haha
Shizzletrack, what is the text you are putting between the IMG tags?
I've tried all sorts!"Grab the link" and "grab the html" as well as logging out and copying the url.
TN - I keep editing the first attempt, just to save me from fillig up this thread with failed attempts... but I now have the 'x' box... progress maybe? From using the advice you posted starting 'just testing' then a white lapierre...

the picture ain't even good, it's just the principle now!
Labmonkey, the race is on!!
@shizzletracxk, that URL you've used is the link to the page that has the photo on it, not the picture itself.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/34577062@N04/4090003992
the image is:
all I did was right click on the image and choose "copy image address" (in Safari)
shizzletrack... i am foxed, completely... just ghot more coffee... maybe that will help!
I am using internet explorer... I take it that this is bad? Since you all mention mozilla and safari?
is the drainpipe part of the frame? 😉
?
Again:?

Huh!
Once more,fingers crossed

B*gger,give up!
Slight hijack, Flickr no problems but I also have a Ovi account and I want to see if that one works so here's an opportunity for a test:
[img] http://share.ovi.com/media/mountaincarrot.public/mountaincarrot.10065 [/img]
FAIL ..
Testing.. Ovi again with the first and last bits stripped off their embed code:

[/IMG]
For which I had to use their "embed" button, which generated a code, copy and paste it into a text, then strip out everything before and including the "src=" and everything after ".jpg"
